Adult classes slated at Career Academy

There are three upcoming adult education classes in the Greene County Career Academy.

The first class is a “Take and Bake” on Wednesday, April 13, from 6:30 to 8 pm with Iowa Central culinary arts instructor Denise Moranville, aka Chef D. Participants will sample the meal when they arrive at 6:30 pm and then prepare their own meal for four to “take and bake” at home.

The meal features garlic buttered chicken breast, herbed roasted potatoes, and red pepper and shallot green beans.

The next two are Canva classes which will be taught by Emily Rohner. The first, Intro to Canva, is being taught a second time because it was such a success, and there have been many requests to offer it again. This class will be held Tuesday, April 19, from 6 to 8 pm.

The second Canva class will be held the same week on Thursday, April 21, from 6 to 8 pm. Participants will take it up a notch using the knowledge they gained in the introductory class for this Advanced Canva class. Rohner will help students tie it all together.
